After many delays due to the pandemic, we are excited to announce that the building of the additional classrooms has started at Ekuphumleni.
Six classrooms will be built in two additional blocks at the school. These classrooms will alleviate some of the pressure on the rotational teaching Ekuphumleni has had to implement since the start of Covid-19, creating more space for the learners.
Expanding the school has been part of the dream that Lizwe Ngalo had for Ekuphumleni and now is even more needed due to the pandemic and no longer being able to have big classes.
The building of these classrooms is made possible by the funds raised through the Africa Run fundraiser, which raised funds for Ekuphumleni in 2019.
