Ekuphumleni’s top student of 2016, Vuyo Mbam, continues to achieve top results and was awarded a Commonwealth Scholarship this month.
Vuyo already made his mark in 2016 when he came top not only at the school, but in the district with 8 distinctions. He went on to study Engineering at Nelson Mandela University and now he will be able to continue pursuing his dreams at Cranfield University, in the field of Renewable Energy – a very pertinent field for South Africa.
We wish him all the best of luck with this big step. We are immensely proud of what he is achieving – Vuyo is an inspiration to all students at Ekuphumleni and what they can achieve.
