Ekuphumleni High School participated in the annual fundraiser, Africa Run, where participants from different parts of the world ran for the same goal: to raise funds for education.

Ekuphumleni was the recipient in 2019 of this fundraiser, and this year joined in solidarity with runners in South Africa, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Germany and America.

The whole school joined in and everyone ran 15km’s, circling Whittlesea. The top three runners received a medal for their efforts, but a lot of fun was had by everyone.

The funds raised this year go to a girl’s school in Mzuzu, Malawi, to build additional classrooms.
